Canada appears to be inching towards a recession, logging its fifth straight month of economic contraction fueled by collapsing oil prices. The Canadian Dollar is today at an eleven year low, which sucks if you’re Canadian but there hasn’t been a better time for us Yanks to visit in years. Canada is basically 30% cheaper for us then it was just two years ago.
Taking a look at a few airfares later this month and fall, New York to Toronto is at $199, Montreal $269. Atlanta to Toronto $340, Vancouver $414. Chicago to Toronto $239, Montreal $284, and Los Angeles to Vancouver $277.
