I’m pretty much just a guy who loves to travel. I’ve been to every continent man inhabits (sorry Antarctica) though nothing too out there, no vacations to Mongolia or Democratic Republic of the Congo as of yet. The point of this blog is one so that I can opine on my travels and keep you good folks up to date with what I’m doing and where I’m going, but also to create a page where I can share what I’ve learned and share cool and interesting things that I come across to help you guys plan your own adventures. A good number of my trips have been solo trips, sometimes by choice, sometimes not by choice, but I’ve found if you can have the strength to go by yourself to a foreign land where you don’t know the language, don’t know the culture, and not only get back in one piece but actually enjoy your time there and learn from and absorb all you can from the experience, well then there isn’t very much this world can throw at you that you can’t handle. I’ve been lucky enough and blessed to have the means to see and do what I’ve wanted to, and there’s still really so much more to do! I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s so incredibly true.

I’m starting out a new career using my passion for travel and my experiences to help others plan and book their travel. I hope to take some of the stress out of travel planning and let my clients relax and enjoy the world. Why do it? Sure there’s a monetary reason to do it, but my commissions come from the hotels, tour operators, etc and not from my clients, I genuinely love travel and want others to feel the same way I do about travel.

I’m a certified South Africa and Hawaii travel specialist.

Beyond that, I’m a not so young Southern Gentleman by way of Brooklyn, now living in Atlanta, loving exploring my new home and region and I am a huge craft beer fan and foodie, much to the dislike of my doctor. I have two dogs a black lab who is a big 70lb baby and a pit bull rescue viciously skilled at jumping into people’s laps and licking them to death, and when they can they join me in my travels.

You can map my travels here. And ask me anything about these places!
